Antonio Cánovas will conduct the Mieres Wind Orchestra in a concert that will commemorate the bicentennial of the first City Council of Mieres (1812-2012) next 25th, October, 2012 in the Auditorium Teodoro Cuesta of Mieres (Spain) at 20:00 hours.
This concert will have a theme related to the Spanish Independence War, and the first Spanish Constitution of 1812, which we also celebrate the bicentennial.
The programme have works by the following composers; Mariano San Miguel, Cristóbal Oudrid, Federico Chueca, Emilio Cebrián Ruiz, Peter Weldon, Pascual Marquina and Ruperto Chapí.
